Divi Contact Form Helper Review: Why I Use It on My Divi Websites
If you build websites with Divi, you probably already know that the standard Divi Contact Form module works well for basic forms. But once a website needs more advanced functionality, you can quickly find yourself looking for additional plugins, custom code, or an entirely different form system. That is where Divi Contact Form Helper by Pee-Aye Creative really shines. I have been using Divi Contact Form Helper on many of my own Divi websites as well as client websites, and it has become one of those plugins that I consider an essential part of my Divi toolkit. Instead of replacing the familiar Divi Contact Form module, it expands what that module can do while keeping everything inside the Divi Builder environment.
One of the biggest reasons I like Divi Contact Form Helper is the sheer number of practical features it adds to the native Divi contact form. The plugin includes functionality for file uploads, date and time pickers, multi-step forms, digital signatures, spam protection, SMTP settings, database storage, confirmation emails, conditional email routing, webhooks, custom merge tags, CSV exports, and much more. For someone building multiple Divi websites, this can eliminate the need to piece together several different plugins just to create a professional contact or lead-generation form. I can continue using the Divi interface I already know while adding the advanced features that clients frequently need.
The August 2026 version 2.1.5 update is another great example of why this plugin continues to stand out. One of the most notable additions is Secure Attachment Delivery, which allows large email attachments to be sent as encrypted, expiring download links rather than simply attaching files directly to an email. New settings give website owners control over attachment size limits, link expiration, and the pages visitors see when a secure link has expired or is invalid. There is also a new {{download_links_ATTACHMENT_ID}} tag that can be used to place secure download links into emails. For client websites that collect documents, applications, images, or other uploaded files, I think this is a particularly valuable addition.
Version 2.1.5 also shows that Pee-Aye Creative is paying attention to the things that matter beyond simply adding more features. The update includes additional security improvements for file uploads, signatures, saved keys and passwords, along with stronger CAPTCHA verification and support for Cloudflare Turnstile's invisible widget mode. Performance has also received attention. The plugin now loads its JavaScript only on pages containing a contact form, while rendering work, database queries, and generated CSS have been reduced on page views. There is even a setting to disable form-view tracking if you don't want a database write occurring on every page view. These may sound like small technical improvements, but when you're managing multiple WordPress websites, performance and security matter.
I also appreciate that Divi Contact Form Helper continues to evolve alongside Divi itself. The plugin supports both Divi 4 and Divi 5, and the ongoing changelog demonstrates that Pee-Aye Creative isn't simply maintaining an old Divi extension. New features, security improvements, performance enhancements, and bug fixes continue to be released. The latest update also improves multi-step form validation, preserves entered field values when a submission fails, improves file-upload validation, and replaces browser confirmation popups with a more polished themed dialog. These are the types of improvements that make a plugin feel like it is being actively developed for real-world websites rather than simply adding features for the sake of having a long feature list.
My Verdict: One of My Favorite Divi Plugins
After using Divi Contact Form Helper on personal and client websites, I have no problem recommending it to other Divi users. If all you need is a simple name, email address, message field, and submit button, you probably don't need a plugin this powerful. But if you build professional Divi websites where forms are important for generating leads, collecting information, accepting files, receiving documents, handling registrations, or communicating with customers, Divi Contact Form Helper is worth a serious look. What I like most is that it doesn't make me abandon the Divi Contact Form module I already know. It simply makes that module dramatically more capable. With continued Divi 5 development, new security features, secure file delivery, performance improvements, and a long list of advanced form features, Divi Contact Form Helper remains one of my go-to recommendations for anyone looking to get more out of Divi contact forms.
